What to serve at a Memorial Day party

So this is your first Memorial Day as an engaged (or newly married) couple, and the party is at your house. With Memorial Day just a few days away, it's time to get into that patriotic spirit and prepare yourselves for a good ole' fashioned party.
Below are some tips on how to throw a Memorial Day party:
  • First, invite your friends and family with some fun, patriotic invitations.
  • Second, decorate with a lot of red, white and blue. (table cloths, napkins, plates, tableware, etc)
  • To really get into the mood why not rent an Uncle Sam costume?
  • Fire up the grill, fill your cooler with cold beverages, and enjoy the beautiful weather. If you are feeling more patriotic, why not play a baseball game or listen to Jazz music. Both of which started in the U.S.?
Now, what kind of food should be served? Hot dogs, burgers, chips, and apple pie should all be served at your party: all-American foods.

What are you serving at your upcoming Memorial Day party?
